Lamb Burger with Fig, Goat Cheese, & Arugula
Ingredients
The Burger:
- 2 lb ground lamb
- 3/4 C minced onion
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. allspice
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 4 oz honey goat cheese
- 10 oz. jar Fig spread
- Fresh arugula
- Toasted hamburger buns (optional)
Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cook Time: 15 Minutes
Total Time: 30 Minutes
Yields: 6-8 Servings
Directions
- Preheat grill to medium high heat or 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl mix together the ground lamb, onion, salt, pepper, garlic, allspice, and cinnamon.
- Grill for 4-5 minutes per side, turn grill off and let sit, covered for 5-7 minutes
- Remove from grill, top with some honey goat cheese, fig spread, and fresh arugula
