Cranberry Orange Sauce
Ingredients
The Sauce:
- 12 oz package of whole fresh cranberries
- 1 cup apple juice
- zest of 1 orange
- juice of 1 orange
- 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
- 3/4 cup raw honey
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 10 Minutes
Total Time: 15 Minutes
Yields: 2 Cups
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a low boil.
- Simmer 10 minutes or until cranberries are bursting and desired texture is achieved.
- Remove from stove and allow to cool. Enjoy warm or cold!
Notes
*May substitute half the amount of honey by mixing in 1/8 teaspoon powdered stevia or more to your desired taste at the end of cooking time.
