The reality is, while this sounds great you’re not sure how you’ll actually get there. You’ve been to Doctors and tried ‘special foods or products’ you were told about and although some have brought temporary relief nothing seems to give you the sustainable lasting results you are looking for. The information you are hearing about and researching is often confusing and contradictory leaving you not knowing where to start.

I get it. I’ve been there! But I’m happy to say that it doesn’t need to be this complicated. When you take out (I call this Minimize) what is irritating your body and add in (Maximize) the foods and nutrients that support you, and Prioritize an environment for healing the miracle happens:  your body does the rest… it was designed to heal and your energy returns! I’ve seen this happen over and over again!

In my program, we will explore concerns specific to you and your body and discover the tools you need for a lifetime of balance. My greatest goal is to empower you with the tools that will make a huge difference in your life not only during the time that we are working together, but making those changes be sustainable long term.

Food changes everything. It is not just calories. More importantly it is nutrition and literally the fuel that powers your body and mind. It builds every cell and system in your body. Specific nutrients are needed to avoid frequent illness, have an efficient metabolism, retain a strong and calm immune system, have optimal digestion and keep a balanced mood.

We keep it simple so it makes sense to you and we move at a pace that is manageable for you. As your daily diet changes, your body changes and your happiness improves. Figuring out what to eat can be frustrating because even healthy foods can be a source of irritation and inflammation if they are not right for you. Together we will put the puzzle pieces in place that will integrate the foods that are best for you with the lifestyle and mindset shifts that will bring you to your best life. Your Program choices include a mix of support services and tools…

1 or 2 x 45 minute customized coaching sessions each month (all are held via phone or Zoom video call)

Follow-up session summaries/notes to help you to review your session and lock-in your learning and habit changes

Email and text support between sessions to clarify progress and make course corrections, as necessary

Emailed educational handouts and other materials with more information to help you implement your plan

All Bridge for Wellness health coaching programs are for a minimum of 4 months. Your unique situation will serve as a guide to the program length that best meets your individual needs. Ultimately the client chooses the program type and length that is right for them.

Some programs finish up in 4 months while others choose to stay working together for 6 to 9 months or longer. I support and honor each client’s unique wellness journey. We become a team so you don’t have to do this alone! I provide accountability and support for you on your journey to optimal health and wellness!

All Bridge for Wellness individual coaching programs begin with an Initial Health consultation. This is an opportunity to discuss your unique situation and see how my program can help you reach your wellness goals. 

This Initial Health consultation includes a review of your health history, detailed symptoms, dietary history, and specific goals. You will have time to share your story and ask questions. We will discuss the interconnectedness of your unique situation and specific needs. You will be sent a follow-up summary of our session with strategies that will help you reach your goals in the form of next steps to get your program started.

As your Functional Wellness Health Coach I will help you to figure out what to maximize, what to minimize and what to prioritize so that your body will naturally seek wellness.  You and I become a team so that you don’t have to do this alone anymore. I know how hard it is to try to figure it all out on your own. There is so much confusing and contradictory information out there! I know I’ve been there! What I know for sure is that your body is always desperately trying to tell you what it needs and you’re likely not recognizing the signs it is giving you. 

What do all the aches and pains and gas and bloating and lack of focus and attention all mean anyway? How come I hardly have enough energy to get me through the day most of the time? Most of my tests are coming back near or within ‘normal’ ranges so why do I feel so bad? I get it! Together we decode what is happening. Then start to put the pieces of the puzzle in place so you can start to feel like yourself again.

It’s common to have food sensitivities or toxicity these days and not realize it. What most of us are experiencing are things that seem unrelated and yet the root cause points to our digestive system being out of whack. Most people are also not eliminating wastes efficiently. This causes toxins to remain in our system and to be reabsorbed which causes a myriad of issues. Or the elimination process is happening much too fast and we can’t get the nutrients out of our foods in time. Both of these can cause such things as bloating, gas or cramping.

Your gut can make you feel like your body is fighting against you.

When we are able to get the digestive system to calm down and return to balance then it is able absorb the nutrients from the foods we eat and our energy and vitality returns!
