Slow Cooker Sausage and Sauerkraut

The Dish:

  • 1 (20) oz can sauerkraut
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 1/2 pounds polish sausage
  • 1 onion, sliced and fried in butter or coconut oil
  • 2 cloves garlic

Yields: 5 Servings

Directions

  1. Saute onion and garlic in butter/coconut oil
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the sauerkraut and honey. Then place in slow cooker. Arrange the sausage and onion over the sauerkraut.
  3. Cook on low for six hours
