Lamb Burger with Fig, Goat Cheese, & Arugula

The Burger:

  • 2 lb ground lamb
  • 3/4 C minced onion
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 4 oz honey goat cheese
  • 10 oz. jar Fig spread
  • Fresh arugula
  • Toasted hamburger buns (optional)
Juicy grilled lamb burger topped with creamy goat cheese and fresh mint, served on flatbread.

Total Time: 30 Minutes

Yields: 6-8 Servings

Directions

  1. Preheat grill to medium high heat or 350 degrees. 
  2. In a large bowl mix together the ground lamb, onion, salt, pepper, garlic, allspice, and cinnamon.
  3. Grill for 4-5 minutes per side, turn grill off and let sit, covered for 5-7 minutes
  4. Remove from grill, top with some honey goat cheese, fig spread, and fresh arugula
